This blog has been set up to hopefully act as an informative resource for and about Sunday League football in Leicestershire & Rutland. I had been thinking of doing a more specific blog for a while that will run along side my other blog, All Roads Lead Somewhere, but a forthcoming change of shifts at work in early 2014 has given me the catalyst. What this means is that I will be working Monday - Friday nights inclusive instead of my current Sunday - Thursday, and as such I will not be getting home from work until 7.30am on the Saturday morning. This will result in me cutting down on the Saturday football and concentrating on Sunday games instead. Hopefully it will mean spending more time with the wife as with the games kicking off at 10.30am I will be home at 1pm latest, and this gives us the rest of the day together without me having to go into work that evening. Also in the long run it should also save me money as I will not be tempted to travel to wherever on a Saturday to watch a game of football.
That is the idea in principle, though whether this works or not is a case of "watch this space".
